A North Carolina institution, The Mast Farm Inn is an award-
winning historic country inn in the Valle Crucis historic district,
which has been welcoming guests since the 1800s. Inn guests,
their guests, and diners not lodging at The Inn are welcome at both
of the Inn’s restaurants, Simplicity and Over Yonder

As a fine dining restaurant, Simplicty offers gourmet slow dining of
extreme quality and freshness.  Their meticulous and award
winning cuisine is prepared with “Mindfulness,” mindful of the
mountain region’s heritage, and mindful of the high quality of the
natural ingredients, with a level of care and personal service
second to none.

NC Cheese is prominently featured and served in both of The Mast
Farm Inn’s restaurants, Simplicity and Over Yonder. 

Diners have the option each evening of choosing between the "A-
La-Carte" and "Chef’s Menu." The Chefs Menu is a special four
course meal designed daily by Chef Andrew Long to feature their
garden, farmers, vendors, and dishes of cultural and historical
significance. The cuisine has been described as "Sophisticated
Southern Country Gourmet Mostly Organic Farm-To-Table Fine

Among the expanding collection handcrafted and homemade
foods, snacks, goodies and treats available to Inn guests, you will
find Artisan Charcuterie and a Cheese & Fruit Platter featuring
local artisan cheeses.
