Haw River Wine Trail - Nestled in the North Carolina countryside between the Triangle and the Triad, make your destination the Haw River Wine Trail. The trail follows the beautiful and relaxing Haw River which provides additional entertainment, scenic views, and wildlife. JoCo Beer, Wine, Shine Trail - In 2009, four award-winning wineries and tasting rooms joined together to form the Muscadine Heritage Wine Trail. And in 2015, the Trail it expanded and has been renamed the JoCo Beer, Wine, and Shine Trail to include our new breweries and distilleries in Johnston County. Experience the trail along their rural roads past tobacco, cotton, and corn fields or stop at a local farmer's market and take home fresh locally grown produce.

Swan Creek Vineyards - Seven vineyards only five miles apart! A wonderful way to explore the wines of Swan Creek in the Yadkin Valley.

Uwharrie Mountains Wine Trail - True official, full opertating, award winning wineries in the heart of the Uwharrie Mountains Range, just 30 minutes NE from Charlotte and 50 minutes SE of Grensboro.  Take tours of their entire commercial operations, from grape gorwing and crushing, to fermentation and aging, and finally to filtering and bottling, you can see how true award winning wineries porduce their wines from start to finish.

Yadkin River Wine Trail - The five wineries of the Yadkin River Wine Trail welcome you to explore their yearly calendar and plan a day trip to participate in one of their exciting and entertaining events.

Yadkin Valley Wine Trail - The Yadkin Valley Wine Trail website was established to provide a single stop for wine lovers seeking information about the wine, wines, wineries, vineyard, vineyards, bed and breakfasts, hotels and other lodging, restaurants and other dining, antiques and antique stores, art galleries, winery tours and other businesses affiliated with winery tourism in the Yadkin Valley.

North Carolina Mountains to Sea Trail - North Carolina’s premier hiking trail. It stretches 1000 miles from the Great Smoky Mountains to the Outer Banks stopping at many of North Carolina’s most beautiful places along the way.

North Carolina Paddle Trails Association's Canoe and Kayak Trail Maps - The mission of the N.C. Paddle Trails Association is to empower communities in the local development, maintenance and restoration of paddle trails in North Carolina thereby nurturing economically and environmentally sustainable communities.

Rails to Trails Maps - Triangle Rails to Trails Conservancy (TRTC) is a state chartered non-profit, organization that works with the local and state government to preserve local abandoned railroad corridors for future transportation and other interim uses such as recreational trails. Their trails include American Tobacco Trail (through Durham, Chatham and Wake Counties) and the Eagle Spur Trail. They also have links on their website to other rail trails and projects of possible interest to trail users in NC and around the country.

North Carolina Birding Trail - The NCBT is a partnership between six founding organizations:the NC Wildlife Resources Commission, Audubon North Carolina, North Carolina Sea Grant, US Fish & Wildlife Service, NC State University Cooperative Extension,and the NC Parks and Recreation. From our vast coastline to our high mountain peaks, North Carolina is home to a diversity of habitats that support hundreds of species of birds and other wildlife. Our unique geographic setting along the Atlantic coast flyway provides both breeding and wintering grounds for many birds, making North Carolina a premiere birding destination. Yet this rich natural heritage is largely untapped as an economic resource for promoting nature-based tourism. The North Carolina Birding Trail (NCBT) will establish North Carolina as a leading nature-based tourism destination.
